Why am I being charged Sales Tax?

Online commerce tax laws have changed substantially over the past few years and we are now required to collect taxes in many states that we didn't previously.  Many of these were implemented on our site at the beginning of last year.  You may have noticed that ebay and amazon now charge taxes on all transactions for all the states for the exact same reason, recent changes in tax laws.
